Our approach:
Partner with Special Olympics UAE to deliver a dynamic cooking programme that helps People of Determination build essential kitchen skills, embrace healthy eating habits, and nurture a passion for cooking which extends beyond the programme. Through interactive virtual sessions and a live cook-along event, participants gain confidence and independence in the kitchen, paving the way for a healthier future.
Programme overview:
The Special Olympics UAE Cooking Club is an initiative designed to equip young people of determination with essential cooking skills. Over a six-week period, participants took part in engaging virtual sessions that covered topics such as nutrition, kitchen safety, sustainability and healthy meal preparation.
The programme culminated in an exclusive graduation ceremony held at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk, where participants showcased their culinary achievements during a live cook-along led by professional chefs from Sofitel.
The programme also emphasised the importance of sustainable and nutritious cooking, while encouraging inclusivity and skill development among individuals with intellectual disabilities.
