Role & Responsibilities

Are you an ambitious finance professional ready to step up and help build a business?

We are looking for a Finance Lead who has the basics down and is ready for a role with real impact. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond “booking journals” to become a finance manager in a fast-growing agency.

You will work directly with our Managing Director, ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and inputting increasingly into our commercial strategy

 

Here’s what we’re asking of you:

  • Manage the day-to-day books, ensuring all invoicing and expenses are accurate and up to date
  • Create a simple weekly update for the Directors so we always know exactly where we stand with cash and sales
  • Keep on top of the bank accounts and help us forecast our cash flow for the months ahead
  • Help the Managing Director review costs on new projects, protecting profit margins
  • Help to build, and take the lead in tracking performance against, our P&L budgets
  • Take charge of chasing invoices and managing UAE requirements like VAT and audit alongside our external accountants
  • Grow with the role, taking on more budgeting and planning responsibility as you settle in

 

These are the skills we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years in a finance role (perhaps as an Accounts Assistant or Junior Accountant) and ready for more responsibility
  • Good working knowledge of UAE VAT and banking processes
  • A stickler for detail – you take pride in numbers balancing perfectly
  • Curiosity about business – you want to understand how the company makes money, not just record the figures
  • The confidence to present reports to management and ask questions if something doesn’t look right
  • Ambition to learn and grow your career as the company gets bigger
